Fireworks + Future Plans
Everywhere you look today, it's all red, white, and blue (in the good ol' US of A).
Happy Birthday, America! β€οΈπ€π
As we're getting to walk out the door to our family picnic (with Ryan's infamous chocolate chip cookies in hand), I would be remiss if I didn't tell you about the multiple celebrations happening today.
It's the day we celebrate our independence as a nation, but it is also the first day of Intentional Filling's Summer Sabbatical.
Summer Sabbatical?
Each year of Intentional Filling's existence, we've taken this as an intentional period of rest. We've been serving our community non-stop for six months, including 19 weeks of Biblical Study! Whew!
Your girl needs a moment to catch her breath, but also a moment to get my intentional fill.
So during the month of July, there will be no social media posts, no emails, no Thursday night Zoom call discussions β just an opportunity for the ministry to rest and reset, to have the spiritual energy and focus to close out the remainder of the year.
Let this be an invitation for yourself as well. Take the time to truly rest in the LORD's presence. Ask Him to pour into you, as an empty vessel, and fill you with the things that will prepare your heart and mind to carry His love, His grace, and His glory forward through the remainder of 2025.
Future Plans
Be on the lookout in August for some new items that will be dropping in the shop. The majority of them will be digital, allowing you to download them to your device and save on shipping.
But, we'll also be running a BIG CLEARANCE SALE to help offload some of our physical inventory. So if you've had your eye on one of our Bible Caddies, T-shirts, or other physical products in the shop, set a reminder on your calendar to check in with the ministry during the first week of August for more information on how to SAVE BIG!
Looking ahead to 2026, the ministry will appear a little different. A bit more minimalistic and pared back.
What was once a team of three hard-working volunteer leaders (that's right, I've never earned a paycheck doing this work) is now just me... Bree.
I need to prioritize areas of the ministry that will continue and what areas will be archived, but given recognition as part of the foundational building blocks that have brought this little online space to where it is today.
Don't worry, I'll give you plenty of notice before they blink off the map.
Rest then Reconnect
Come September 14th, our community will reconvene and reconnect through our final study of 2025 β The Temple and the Tabernacle by J. Daniel Hays.
We're very excited to bring together the knowledge and insights we've gained through our biblical study of the book Seeing Jesus in Unexpected Places and the Book of Hebrews, tracing the continual thread of God's desire to tabernacle with His people from Genesis to Revelation.
We'd love for you to join us and see how you fit into that story!
Until then, have a blessed month and a safe 4th of July!
