I don't know about you, Reader, but I find it hard to believe that come tomorrow, it's gonna be May!
Sorry, not sorry - I'll never not share this. Haha!
Wrapping up Quarter 1 of 2025
We started the new year with a study focusing on the Old Testament Tabernacle. Now, don't let that be a turn-off, because it was an amazing study that helped us make connections through the ancient text to Jesus, which was beautiful & mind-blowing. The book we used as our guide, Seeing Jesus in Unexpected Places, is worth checking out.
A sizeable donation was made on behalf of Intentional Filling to the campus ministry at the university where I work full-time, as a way to support college students in their journey of faith.
On April 6th, we kicked off our Spring Deep Dive Study on the book of Hebrews, which has led to some inspiring discussions on Thursday nights via Zoom. This 13-week study allows us to dive deep into God's Word and explore each verse through its context—our favorite way to study!
We launched our favorite (and very popular) Bible Context Bingo game card - FREE Which helps you to tap into the variations of studying Biblical context, while gamifying the process. We challenge you to get 4 in a row, or better yet, a cover all!
As I shared in our last newsletter, we have made the difficult decision to press pause on our private Facebook Group, Biblical Context Matters.
We continue to provide valuable resources through our podcast, on Instagram, and on our website to support ALL women (regardless of social media access) who are seeking to grow in faith by studying beyond the surface of Scripture and learning the reasons behind why we believe what we believe.
Coming up...
We'll be announcing our 2026 study lineup and other exciting opportunities to connect with the Intentional Filling community in a couple of weeks! We can't wait to spill the beans.
Updates are coming to our shop, including retiring some products. If you've had your eye on something, NOW is the time to place your order, before it's too late!
Our newest product collection will be launching in the coming months - we'll keep you posted on a launch date.
Following our Spring Deep Dive Study, Intentional Filling will be taking our annual Sabbatical for the month of July. During this time, we encourage you to find rest and refreshment as well!
Come September 14th, we'll be hitting the books again, as we return to the structure of the OT Tabernacle and see how God carried forward this plan through the building of the Temple in Jerusalem and what we have to look forward to in the New Jerusalem one day, as we read The Tabernacle and the Temple: A Study of God's Dwelling Places from Genesis to Revelation. We're excited for this one and would LOVE for you to join us for this 7-week study! Learn More
Ways to enhance your learning
Intentional Filling's Biblical Study Resource Library
Since the recent closure of our Facebook community group, I have been diligently working to build a library of study resources that we have shared over the last four years. Many of those resources you can find on our website, intentionalfilling.com/resources.
In the future, we will be offering a comprehensive list of resources, organized by topic of study, for our community (and beyond) to be able to access from our site.
Can you support our Bible Study Resource Library project?
Your financial support will help to cover the cost of the extra digital storage space needed on our website to house such a collection of Biblical study resources.
This extensive collection will include resources that we have curated over the last five years that have supported our study of Biblical context, including:
Articles, blogs, books, commentaries, dictionaries, podcasts + recommended episodes, YouTube videos + recommended channels to subscribe to, and websites to incorporate in your study.
