I meant to email you last Friday evening. I meant to share some news on what I feel God is calling me and the ministry of Intentional Filling to... but I was otherwise ENGAGED!

Yes, you read that right–Ryan proposed!💍

And I said, YES!🎉

If you've been around the ministry for a while, you'll know what a BIG deal this is for us, as we've pretty well mastered the "in sickness & health" part of our future vows!

I promise this newsletter and ministry won't turn into a wedding blog, but I may occasionally share some of the lessons we're learning in this new chapter of our lives.

Like how we're already experiencing the blessing of trusting in God as we simultaneously hold joy and grief—a practice that is very Jewish in nature. And how we've both seen God moving in the details.

But for now, some ministry news...

I previously announced that we have pressed pause on our Facebook Community to devote our attention toward building a library of resources on our website of those we've curated over the last four years of Biblical study through its context. We're very excited about this ongoing project, and we hope you'll be excited to use it in the future!

As we continue those endeavors, we're also reassessing how to best serve our community through our services and the products we offer. After much prayer and contemplation—

We've decided to expand our collection of digital products.

These will include:

  • Printables - These will assist you with your day-to-day time spent in the Word
  • Digital Guides - Step-by-step guides to help you dig deeper and spend more intentional time discovering Jesus on every page of Scripture
  • Curated Resources - Lists of resources that have become our "go-to's" over the years and how we put them to work
  • Video Library - Providing access to our previous Biblical Study discussions to use on your own, or with your small group

Will we still offer physical products—yes and no.

  • Yes–but now we'll only offer them as a short run multiple times a year.
  • This helps us to keep our inventory low (crucial for the tiny space the ministry works within).
  • It allows us to be better stewards by focusing our energies on items that are most beneficial to growing your faith... and an occasional T-shirt! 😉

Can you support our Bible Study Resource Library project?

Your financial support will help to cover the cost of the extra digital storage space needed on our website to house such a collection of Biblical study resources.

This extensive collection will include resources that we have curated over the last five years that have supported our study of Biblical context, including:

  • Articles, blogs, books, commentaries, dictionaries, podcasts + recommended episodes, YouTube videos + recommended channels to subscribe to, and websites to incorporate in your study.
